Job description

About the job

First, how we work, because it's not for everyone. There is no yearly budget that gets divided over channels in January. No quarterly plans, no steering committees, no agency that does the real work. We build hype drop by drop, in weeks, not quarters: an idea from Monday can be live on Friday, and the plan changes the day culture changes. If that sounds exhausting, stop reading. If it sounds like freedom, keep going.

You lead and scale our brand team: PR, talent, content and social, projects, partnerships and photography. That's a lot of creative people with a lot of ideas. You pick the right ones, kill the wrong ones and make sure everything lands on time. You report directly to our founder, who is also our Creative Director. You're the link between him and the team: you turn his direction into work the team can execute, you push back when something doesn't fit, and you make sure the team never drowns in the pace. Fast, but under control.

Job requirements

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and coach the brand team of 7- 15 people: clear priorities, per person, honest feedback and a growth path for everyone who earns one

  • Be the link between the founder and the team: translate direction into briefs, manage expectations in both directions and protect the team from noise

  • Turn the brand into a rolling plan of drops, campaigns, events, collabs and activations, and flip it the moment a better idea or a bigger trend shows up

  • Keep everything on brand, from a TikTok to a store window to a pop-up at the coast

  • Set priorities and say no when something doesn't fit, even when it's your own idea

  • Put money and people on what works this week, not on what a plan said months ago

  • Work side by side with the performance marketing team, so every collection is not only marketed to perfection, but also converts to its maximum potential

  • Track what works: reach, engagement, community growth and what it does for sales

What you bring

You lead by example:

  • 5+ years building a brand people actually wear, follow or queue for: fashion, streetwear, lifestyle or another culture-driven world

  • 3+ years leading a creative or marketing team: hiring, coaching, giving hard feedback and helping people grow

  • You bring peace of mind, structure and order in the chaos for your team to thrive

  • Strong-minded founders don’t scare you. You’ve worked with one directly, and you know how to turn their direction into work, push back when it matters and still deliver.

You get the brand:

  • You don't just get socials, you get our audience on socials: what they wear, watch, share and skip

  • A sharp eye for what's on brand and what isn't, and the guts to say it

  • You decide in days, not quarters: no decks, no committees, just taste, data and guts

  • You plan well, and you tear up the plan without mourning when something better shows up

Practical:

  • You live in Belgium and work from our HQ in Antwerp

  • Fluent Dutch and English

Nice to have, no dealbreaker 😉

  • Experience with events, pop-ups or physical activations

  • A network in fashion, music, sports or creator scenes

  • Big-company marketing experience, as long as you can show us you've unlearned the pace

How to apply

Send us your CV and cover letter and an answer to the two questions below, is a plus: (keep it stupid simple)

  1. Which Suspicious drop, campaign or piece of content from the past year didn't fit the brand, and why?

  2. Tell us about a moment you took a team to the next level. What was the situation, what did you change, and what was different afterwards?
