About the job

As the Operations Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing and maintaining our online landscape. Your primary focus will be on managing and enhancing our website, overseeing web development initiatives, implementing integrations, and efficiently managing the back-office operations through Shopify. Your technical affinity and creative flair will contribute to delivering an exceptional online shopping experience for our customers. Doing this, you will work closely with your colleagues in the operations team, especially with our developer and paid social specialist.

Job requirements

General responsibilities

  • Store Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify back-office, including product uploads, inventory management, pricing updates, and order fulfillment.
  • Web Development: Collaborate with developers and designers to implement innovative website features, enhancements, and design improvements that align with our brand identity and business objectives.
  • Integrations: Identify and implement third-party integrations, tools, and applications to enhance the customer journey, streamline processes, and drive conversions.
  • User Experience (UX): Continuously analyze user behavior and feedback to optimize site navigation, layout, and content, ensuring an intuitive and engaging shopping experience.
  • Paid Social: Follow up on the paid media advertisement campaigns set up by our paid social specialist. Understand the metrics & KPI’s and follow up on the conclusions and next steps to be taken.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implement CRO strategies to increase conversion rates, reduce cart abandonment, and optimize the sales funnel.
  • Mobile Optimization: Ensure the website is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices to cater to the growing mobile customer base.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce management, web development, and Shopify back-office operations.
  • You are based in Belgium or willing to relocate

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of Shopify
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and analysis
  • Fluent in English

Nice to haves

  • Understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis.
  • Understanding of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with e-commerce platforms.
  • Understanding and experience in, UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics
