About the job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Webshop Operations Coordinator to oversee the backend operations of our webshop. This role is pivotal in ensuring our inventory, data, and logistics systems run smoothly to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. If you are highly organised, Excel-savvy, and thrive in a data-driven environment, this role is for you.

Job requirements

General responsibilities

  • Stock Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records and preventing stockouts or overstocking.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, optimize performance, and support decision-making.

  • Fulfillment Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with our fulfillment center, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations.

  • Backend Setup and Maintenance: Prepare and manage the backend of the webshop, including product uploads, price updates, and order processing workflows.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory, fulfillment, and sales performance to share insights with the team.

Profile

  • Master’s Degree

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce management and Shopify back-office operations.

  • You are based in Belgium.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis tools.

  • Experience with Shopify

  • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics processes.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with the fulfillment center and internal teams.

Nice to haves

  • Understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis.

  • Understanding of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with e-commerce platforms.

  • Understanding and experience in, UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics
